Pakistan Marks Milestone with First Export of Farm-Raised Shrimps to Vietnam

Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in its fisheries sector with the first-ever international shipment of 21,600 kilograms of locally farm-raised shrimp exported to Vietnam, showcasing the sector’s growing export potential.
 

With initiatives supported by the SIFC, such as introducing Aquaculture Policy, facilitating tax/ duties incentives, promoting deep-sea fishing, and developing value-added industries, Pakistan’s fisheries exports are poised for substantial growth.
